Arrowhead Film - Online

The 2009 Lake Arrowhead Film Festival will represent our 10th year as one of the premiere film festivals in the United States. We are known to have a high-quality event, which is a favorite among filmmakers and fans alike.

This year, we are expanding our film festival into the digital age. We will be offering an outstanding lineup of short films in three different categories for your online viewing pleasure.

Our online festival will give world exposure to our live festival. It will be both the foreplay and the afterglow. It will run for some time before our live festival, and be the lead-up to our live screenings and award ceremonies. It will keep running after the lights have been turned off, affording viewers the opportunity to go back and see some of their favorites

The winners of the online festival will be announced before the live screenings. Category winners will garner screenings in the live festival, and special recognition at our awards banquet.

The 2009 online festival will attract top-notch short films, and will be a showplace for a broad spectrum of entries. We will be accepting submissions for films of 30 minutes or less in the following categories:

• Dramatic Short Film
• Animated Short Film
• Documentary Short Film

Every film submitted will be available to the general public to review, vote on, and comment upon. There are no losers; everybody wins.
